Creating Bespoke Image Libraries That Feel Human, Not Stock
Case Study - Here Technologies
HERE Technologies provides advanced mapping and location data solutions to some of the world’s largest carmakers and logistics networks. They commissioned a global asset library to visualise how their technology powers everyday mobility — from logistics and supply chain visibility to ridesharing, fleet management, and personal navigation.
Working closely with the client and creative team, we created a cohesive set of lifestyle and technical images capturing the real-world environments where their data comes to life. The shoot focused on people interacting naturally with tech — behind the wheel, on the move, or managing operations — to reflect the brand’s role in enabling smarter, more connected transport.
The result was a versatile suite of images used across campaigns, digital platforms, investor communications, and global B2B marketing — helping HERE tell a grounded, human story about high-level tech.
Matthew Lloyd is a UK-based commercial photographer for tech and professional services brands, working with agencies and in-house teams to produce authentic, high-quality image libraries that elevate brand storytelling. In a sector often dominated by lifeless stock photography and overly staged visuals, Matthew’s work offers a more human alternative — photography that feels real, considered, and aligned with a brand’s tone of voice.
From software platforms and fintech firms to law practices, consultancies, and B2B service providers, he creates bespoke photography assets that are clean, cinematic, and versatile. His work is used across websites, pitch decks, investor communications, social media, brand guidelines, and internal platforms — offering long-term value through cohesive and reusable imagery.
With a background in editorial and reportage photography, Matthew is able to work quickly and intuitively on location — whether capturing environmental portraits of leadership teams, lifestyle imagery of staff in action, or contextual stills that communicate workplace culture and brand values. Based in Yorkshire and frequently working in London and across the UK and Europe, he brings a nimble, hands-on approach that suits everything from single-day shoots to multi-week, multi-country campaign productions.
Matthew has worked with global clients including DHL, American Express, and Lloyds Banking Group, bringing brand stories to life through thoughtful, people-first imagery.
Full production is available globally — including model and location sourcing, hair and makeup, vehicles, and post-production.
