Kraken Rum

Lifestyle shoot in London for Kraken spiced rum. Kraken had a library of varying quality levels of image, with a wide mix of styles of photography and styling, and wanted a new set of assets that reflected the Kraken brand better and could be formalised centrally across all their global channels. Two day shoot, one day indoors one day outdoors with a different set of models for each - the brief was to make the images appear natural and a reportage feel, even though it was all carefully staged, styled and lit. A heavy colour grade reflects the brands aesthetics perfectly.

A background in photojournalism rather than being a studio based drinks photographer gives a wealth of experience when it comes to shooting on location, or with people. Finding the right angles, and constructing the right lighting to make it look completely natural.
